Oil on canvas 15x15cm
Reproduction of one of the angels of Raffaello Sanzio’s painting “Sistine Madonna”, circa 1513-1514.
Created following the traditional practice of Realist Painting, this piece draws inspiration from the principles of the 19th-century Académie des Beaux-Arts. The complex, painstaking process requires four layers to be applied over the entire surface, gradually building light, depth, and precision. Unlike hyperrealist painting, this technique combines discipline and artistic sensitivity, preserving the timeless appeal of true painterly expression.
