Inspired by the Lagoa Grande, a lagoon just two kilometers from my studio in the state of Piauí, Brazil, this painting captures the quiet beauty of nature after the rains. The wide open sky, mirrored in the water, creates a space of stillness and reflection — a landscape where solitude becomes peace. This place, a small paradise for contemplation and bird watching, is also a source of inspiration and renewal in my work.
